Dr. Tina Hall DVM, DABVP (FELINE PRACTICE)

One of the greatest myths about cats is that they are self-sufficient, but modern feline medicine has found that cats require veterinary care at all stages of their lives. For over 20 years, Dr. Hall has dedicated her career to normalizing life stage-guided wellness care and elevating the standards of internal medicine, feline enrichment, and cat-friendly veterinary practice. She is also deeply interested in educating cat families about the mysterious, invisible language that felines use to show (or hide) illness. In 2023, Dr. Hall was certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) specializing in Feline Practice. Dr. Hall is one of only five veterinarians with this certification in Ontario and one of eight in Canada.

Dr. Hall mastered a rigorous and demanding application process and certification examination to obtain Diplomate status. To qualify to sit for the extensive all-day examination, a veterinarian must complete at least six years of clinical veterinary practice and pass a review of professional references, practice procedures, and two comprehensively researched case reports. ABVP Diplomates have proven their veterinarian expertise exceeds what is required to practice veterinary medicine and have earned a privilege to apply their knowledge and passion to specialize in the treatment animals.
