Owned by one of the few board certified feline veterinary specialists in Ontario, The Cat Clinic is a fully functioning veterinary hospital in Hamilton, exclusively for feline patients.
Established in 1978, the veterinarians and staff at The Cat Clinic understand the special bond you share with your cat. We are 100% committed to the most compassionate, high quality feline care. With an extensive experience in veterinary medicine, our dedicated team members keep pace with the latest in feline medicine and surgery. We encourage our clients to be a part of decision making and respect that every cat is an individual. Each cat is treated with the upmost dignity and compassion, as if they were truly our own. The Cat Clinic welcomes new clients, emergencies, and second opinions.
Our hospital is equipped to provide your pet with routine medical care, including preventive health care, radiography, ultrasound, dentistry, and surgery.
We also provide emergency care.
The Cat Clinic is a member of the CVO (College of Veterinarians of Ontario), OVMA (Ontario Veterinary Medical Association), AAFP (American Association of Feline Practitioners), Cornell Feline Health Centre, ABVP (American Board of Veterinary Practitioners), CVMA (Canadian Veterinary Medical Association), Veterinary Information Network (VIN) and the Hamilton Veterinary Academy.
We are active in the local community as well as national charity work in the pursuit of supporting cats and their needs.
Dr. O'Brien has volunteered her time to go all over Canada representing Care for Cats, championing "The Year of the Cat" initiative by creating a greater awareness of responsible cat ownership.
