Angie learned of her love for animals at a young age – she first began working with them in 1988 as a high school co-op student and as a result, decided to pursue a career as a Registered Veterinary Technologist. She graduated from the program at St. Lawrence College in 1993 where she earned both the Board of Governors scholarship and The MTC Animal Clinics Award. She has been working at The Cat Clinic since 1998. Angie has completed the Royal Canin Nutrition Counsellor Program, the Purina Nutrition Matters Certificate and is currently working on completing the Hill's Veterinary Nutritional Advocate Program. At home, Angie enjoys her very large clan of rescue critters including Chanel a senior dog, eight cats Spider, Kaj, Tank, Widget, Motor, Captain Krinkles, Everest and Kanin as well as a snake. She is fondly known as the "crazy kitten lady" since she takes in multiple orphan kittens for fostering and special attention.
Rebecca has been with the clinic since the summer of 1998. She came straight out of college after graduating with High Honours from the Animal Care Program at Sheridan College. She has two senior cats at home, Eli, and Cuddles both of which have been rescued from different animal shelters in the area. She also works with a local rescue group to open her home to pregnant cats that need a safe place to give birth and raise their family.
Maria and her family originally came from England; she has been with The Cat Clinic since 1996 where she has worked as a full time technician for the past several years. At home, Maria and her family have a busy house including several fish tanks with African Cichlids, one senior dog named Gizmo and two cats named Prince and Jasmine.
Donna came to the Cat Clinic shortly after graduating from the Animal Care Program at Sheridan College in 1982 and has been an integral part of The Cat Clinic for almost 30 years. Donna has currently taken on the administrative duties of the practice but you can still see her popping downstairs to lend a hand and to say hello to the clients. At home, Donna and her family enjoy the company of two very active husky's Jake and Willow and two cats Orange and Boots.
