Parasite Control

Whether the parasite is internal, such as roundworm or heartworm, or external like fleas or ear mites, we take parasite control very seriously at The Cat Clinic.

Many parasites have other risks associated with them. Roundworms for example can be a public health risk especially to people with compromised immune systems while fleas can carry a blood parasite which, if left untreated, can cause a deadly anemia in your pet.

When your cat is a patient at The Cat Clinic we will discuss de-worming for internal parasites, a fecal analysis, and monthly treatments for fleas and heartworm as part of your cat's annual preventive wellness exam. We use a multitude of effective and safe products to keep these pesky nuisances under control which will be specifically chosen based on your cat's individual needs.
