Utah is a very busy but happy boy who was found as a stray and taken to Hamilton Animal Services. Ideally we would like to see this 2 year old boy placed in a home without other cats. He has tested positive for FIV but that is no reason he can’t have a long and happy life.
Zoey is a three year old shy girl who was part of a local stray colony that one of our clients has been working to get them all spayed and neutered (TNR’d). When it was Zoey’s turn, one of the colony caregivers decided to give her a chance at being a house cat instead of putting her back outdoors.
We are happy to report that Purrcy has surprised us! After being solely on a Kidney Diet for the last several months his blood values have gone back into the normal range! Now we don’t want to mislead anyone, Purrcy does still have Stage Two Renal Disease and this can not be “cured”. He’s doing so well however we feel he deserves a chance to be adopted.
Purrcy is super social so he’s going to need a family who has some time to give him. He’s ok with other “cat friendly” cats (he didn’t work out with Lance as Lance kept jumping on his head).
Sadie would do well in just about any kind of home. She does well with the other cats here at the clinic and has actually become quite friendly with our clinic cat Lance.
Lobo is an 8 year old FeLV/FIV negative neutered male. After years of being picked on by another cat Lobo would ideally love to be in a home with no other cats or at the very least one whose going to be his friend. He is initially a little nervous in new situations but he warms up quickly and then becomes a real snugly purr bucket.
Autumn is a tiny cutie who originally came in to Village when someone found her as a stray kitten. She’s ok with other “cat friendly” cats but is content to play by herself. Her favorite toys so far are gruffle balls and toilet paper rolls. Follow us on Facebook for Autumns progress.
Please note we are recieveing lots of phone calls about Autumn. As with all of our adoptions if you would like to send us an application prior to them technically being available you are welcome to and then we can keep it on file. Once the kitty is available to leave our care we will review ALL applications and choose the home we feel is most suited for that individual cat/kitten. We like to try and make the best matches that we can in order for our adoptee's to enjoy a life long family.
Asia is a pretty girl from a local stray colony. In one of our fastest adoptions ever, she made a love connection with one of our clients before she was technically even available yet.
Keeley found her way into our adoption program when her owner could no longer look after her. This beautiful 12 year old Lilac Point Birman is super loving and affectionate. After updating all of her routine medical care and having some dental work Keeley was ready to find a new family.
Gypsy is a happy-go-lucky, rambunctious 12 week old kitten who would do best in a household with a buddy for her to play with. She loves to run and play but then when it’s time to rest she loves a lap to curl up in.
Bryn found his way into our adoption program when her owner could no longer look after him. Bryn is a 12 year old, declawed and FeLV/FIV negative boy. He is an absolutely gorgeous pure breed Birman with big blue eyes. He has "purrsonality plus" and just lives for giving his person attention.
Caleb is a super friendly FeLV/FIV negative boy who would do well in just about any kind of home with the right introduction. He appears to be about 2 years old and is very easy going.
Snowshoe was found by one of our clients who found him and brought him in for us to scan for a microchip. He unfortunately didn’t have one so after listing him on helpinglostpets.com and waiting a few days we added him to our adoption program. Some preventive health care and a blood donation for a kitty in need and he was all ready to look for a new family….and we had just the perfect one in mind.
Scruffy came to us from Quebec. This gentle sweetheart has obviously had a very rough short life. He’s a super shy three year old kitty whose going to do best in a quieter home with someone who is willing to give him the time to come out of his shell. He has tested positive for FIV but that is no reason he can’t have a long happy life.
Update: Scruffy has been with us now for a couple of months and he has come such a long way. He’s now an outgoing happy go lucky man who likes nothing better than to chat away with anyone who will pay attention to him. He’s been very comfortably spending his days in our display kennel in the front reception room. Although we still feel Scruffy would do best in a home without small children we aren’t as concerned about finding him a “quiet” home as we once were. If your able to give this guy a chance he sure would appreciate it.
Splinters got a bit of growing up to do before going to his new home but he’s doing really well. He loves to play and would do well in just about any home. He is a typical rambunctious kitten so he will need an outlet for all of that energy.
Rocky was found as a sick little kitten at one of our client’s church. He was dehydrated, flea ridden and very underweight. A few days of supportive care, followed by a few weeks of good nutrition and Rocky was ready to look for a new family.
Cole is a little nervous of new situations but is super friendly and affectionate once he’s comfortable. He loves crinkle balls and dangly toys. Medically he will need to stay on a urinary safe diet but thankfully these are no more expensive than most of the good quality diets on the market.
Sydney is a real love bug who needs a second chance at a forever family. He was surrendered to Hamilton Animal Services when his owner passed away. This 6 year old FIV/FeLV negative domestic short hair has a bit of a quiet soul. He would rather curl up on a couch with a good book than run marathons.
Diesel has had a bit of a rough time. He has joined us from Hamilton Animal Services where he was taken in as a stray. We think he’s about 6 years old. He was a big scarred up “tough” looking tom cat. Not surprising he tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus.
He was a little scared initially but now that he has settled in he’s a big love bug. He loves to give hugs and head butts. He’s a super affectionate loving boy if someone will just give him a chance.
This 7 year old chatty girl loves snuggles and shoulder rides. She was admitted as a stray in a shelter in Quebec but she's already been spayed so she's obviously had an owner at some point. With the right introduction Milly should do well in just about home where she can get lots of attention and snuggles. She is just waiting to get a dental procedure and then should be ready to find her forever family.
Update : Lucy is a bit of a special needs kitty. She has spondylosis that we are controlling with a capsule of medication in her food twice a day, Stage 1 renal disease and diabetes. We have been able to control her diabetes with special diet.
This chatty girl is another pretty lady who came all the way from Gatineau, Quebec. We don’t know a lot about Lucy’s history except that she was surrendered because she smelled bad. Turns out she had a dirty back end because she has arthritis and can’t reach to clean. Some pain medication, a weight loss plan and dental procedure later and she was all ready to find a new forever home
Boom is a super affectionate polydactyl guy who loves snuggles and shoulder rides. He’s not really sure about toys just yet but we are sure given the chance he’s going to love to play. He’s FeLV/FIV negative and we feel with the right introduction Boom would do just fine in a home with another cat friendly kitty. Between broken bones, bite wounds, abcesses and fractured teeth we really feel this guy has already had his share of hardship. Can you give him a better life?
Belle is a two year old outgoing playful female kitty. She is a BIG fan of knotty knots and crinkles balls and would just love to worm her way into someone’s heart.
Belle will be coming back into our adoption program. Although they loved her, for personal reasons, the family she was placed with were no longer able to keep her. We are hoping the second time will be the charm.
Moogly is another kitty who has come to us from Quebec by way of the Freedom Riders and One Last Chance Rescue. This poor guy must have quite the story to tell. He was found as a stray but he had a pretty collar with a bell, he'd already been neutered and had been declawed on all four of his feet. Not surprising Moogly had a hard time competing out on the street and he contracted FIV.
Jelly is a super happy, outgoing and energetic little girl. She’s FeLV/FIV negative and cat friendly. She just needs a family ready to lover her.
Goofy is a happy go lucky two year old boy who came all the way from Quebec to find a second chance at love.
One of our long term clients had two stray kitties hanging around in their yard. They adopted the one but asked us if we could find room in our adoption program for the other little guy. He is a happy go lucky FeLV/FIV negative boy who’s going to do well in just about any home. He loves attention and just can't wait to be a much loved family member instead of "just a stray".
Jack came to us from one of our clients who is involved with helping our local stray cat population. Jack is a little bit of a quieter soul with a really sweet, snuggly personality. With the right introduction he gets along well with other “cat friendly” cats and is FeLV/FIV negative. He’s had a rough start and really can’t wait to enjoy a forever family.
Zaska came to us from Animal Services late on a Friday afternoon. She had been picked up from the side of the road with an obviously fractured hind leg and a severe upper respiratory infection. She's still got some healing to do but she is progressing daily hopefully she will be available for adoption soon.
Oliver came to us in a little bit of a roundabout way. He’s a stray who has been hanging around one of our teams property for a while and when they saw the state he was in they knew he needed some help. He’s super friendly so rather than just being a candidate for TNR (Trap/Neuter/Release) we decided to add him to the adoption program.
(Warning contains graphic pictures)
Snowball came to us through the Freedom Riders from the Quinte Humane Society. He was originally “seized” from a hoarding household and then placed in QHS’s group housing room.
Snowball is a bit of a Special Needs kitty. He has been diagnosed as having Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Thankfully special food (Gastro High Energy), a probiotic (fortiflora) and an anti-inflammatory (prednisolone) help manage Snowballs condition quite well.
Marble has found her forever home.
Paulie's mom was a stray around one of our teams homes. When Paulie became ill mom knew just where to go and delivered him to the doorstep.

Hero started out as part of the Hamilton Street Cats trap neuter release program. He wasn’t feeling so well but he was so friendly that one of their volunteers asked if they could try and foster him to see if finding a home for him would be possible. Because we have an adoption program they asked if we could help them out. We of course said yes and even had a great long term client in mind for him right away.
Missy would like to say hello ! She came all the way from Gatineau, Quebec and is super excited to be part of our adoption program. One of our technicians saw her on One Last Chance Rescue site and just had to help. The Freedom Riders arranged a relay ride for her to arrive here on the day before Family Day.
Frankie loves snuggling on the couch and curling up on the pillows at bedtime. She’s going to do best in a quieter home with a family who realizes it might take a few days before she shows her real purrsonality.
Drifter is a three year old happy go lucky chatty man who would like a family of his own. He’s good with other cats and has remarkable patience with small children. Basically he should fit into any home as long as his new family realizes this is a cat who is going to belong in the center of their world.

She loves life and is an extremely social friendly little girl. She’s looking for a family who understands she’s a little bit special who can make a few minor concessions. If you’re interested in Daisy or have any questions about her special needs please contact the clinic.
