It is a great honour that the family and friends of Don Drury have asked for memorial donations to be given to The Cat Clinic's Street Cat Program. As a feline specialist and owner of the clinic, I take great pride in all we do to help the homeless, feral and needy cats in this great city. By helping various rescue groups, running our own adoption program for medically compromised homeless cats, supporting the human/feline bond by helping cat owners who are on disability and piloting the HBSPCA's Trap/Neuter/Return/Adoption program, we are trying to make a difference, one cat at a time. Donations in memory of Mr. Drury will allow us to expand our programs by covering the cost of additional laboratory fees, supplies and specialized surgeries. I know that Don, a cat lover, also believed in helping the underdog. In many ways, homeless cats living in our community are the underdogs of the pet world; abandoned, unidentified, not spayed or neutered and without value. Any funds donated in Don Drury's memory will be directly applied to help these cats. We do not have a charitable donation status, so unfortunately we cannot issue a charitable tax receipt.
A donation can be made to any TD Canada Trust and deposited to Transit Number 2512 Account number 5269581. Alternatively, you can call The Cat Clinic at 905-387-4151 and we can accept a donation with Visa or Mastercard over the phone or drop in to 391 Concession St where we can accept debit or a cash donation. All funds raised will go directly towards the needy cats in Hamilton.
