This is our eldest: Eli. He has been with our family for the longest and rules the home. Althought I have had him since he was 8 weeks old, I have know him since he was born. Our receptionist Jennifer was fostering a pregnant mom for the Burlingtin Humane Society at that time and her momma cat "Samantha" gave birth to 3 cute little grey kittens, 1 cute black kitten, and this beautiful little Brown Tabby with White. He was such an unusual colour compared to the rest of the family that he stood out right away. I visited as often as possible and watched him grow up and become the little scamp that won my heart. I think the day I was sure that he was coming home with me was when, at 3 weeks of age, I took a picture of him nursing on his mom. He looked up at me from over her tummy and gave me a great big hiss and I thought it was the cutest thing I had ever seen. Well, as you can imagine, that hiss was an indication of the rocky road that we would travel together over the years. However, Eli has since become a very sweet cat with a great personality. He is a very big part of the family and I really don't know what we would do without him.
