Cats for Adoption

We've been Adopted! - Ollie, Pansy, Cali and Kalista

July 06, 2014 / 1 Comment

These four little munchkins were originally being fostered by one of our technicians for a local rescue but one of our clients really wanted to adopt the two little calico’s so we decided to make space in our program for all four.

These guys were already 6 weeks old when they found themselves at Animal Services.   The plan was to keep them at one of our technician’s house until they were 8 weeks old and then bring them in to find their forever homes.  Well that didn’t work out quite the way we planned since each one had managed to purr and snuggle their way into our clients hearts when they were just in for a day visit for a health examination.  All four siblings were quickly on hold.

It’s been a couple of weeks and everyone but Pansy has headed off their new homes and they doing great.

Pansy became quite ill when she was about 7 weeks old so we are keeping her a little longer just to make sure she is fully recovered.  She should be heading to her new home sometime next week.

Our Adoption fee is $150 this includes the full initial series of vaccinations, neutering or spaying when they are old enough, deworming, defleaing, fecal testing, felv/fiv testing, treatment for any external parasites, insurance trial and microchipping.

It was LOVE AT FIRST MEETING, when I met up with the "FELINE FAMILY OF FOUR" brought into "The Cat Clinic" for checkups, on "July 4, 2014". They were "Brother & Sisters" . . . Cali, Kalista, Pansy & Ollie. I immediately adopted "Sisters" Cali & Kalista. I just lost my "Calico Cat of 14 years", so in her remembrance, I split the name "Calico" in half, naming one "Cali" and the other one "Coco". What a coincidence the name "Cali" stuck. I would love to know how "Cali n' Cocos" siblings are doing, and if the families that adopted "Pansy n' Oillie" would like meet their "Sisters". If so, please "E-Mail" me. We'd love to meet you all.
