                                                                       Please meet Minnie!

It was lunch time on yet another busy Thursday when one of our regular clients came in the door crying.  The client had been on her lunch break with a friend at the park when a car pulled up, put down some “stuff” and then left again.  When they went to investigate it turned out the “stuff” was a bowl with some cat food and a friendly calico cat who has recently weaned kittens!   We had just filled up both of our rescue kennels with kitties from animal services but we were faced with either sending her to Animal Services or taking in an “extra” one.  Each of our staff members gets what we call a “compassionate surrender turn” every year.  What this does is allow each staff member to take in a cat ahead of one on our waiting list.    One of our assistants spoke up and used her turn so Minnie has joined our adoption program.  She’s a quiet, beautiful, short haired female who will soon be spayed.  Please help us find her a home where she doesn’t have to worry about trips to the park anymore.

We are thrilled to say Minnie has found her forever home with one of our employee's!

If you’re interested in this little girl please email the clinic at reception@thecatclinic.ca or you can call 905-387-4151 for an application.
