Poor little Keiko has had a really hard start in life.  Some of our staff were at Animal Services to pick up a cat for our adoption program.  They found this tiny scared little calico hiding in the very back of her cage.  She’d only been there for a day but she had been found “frozen to the ground”.  Her poor ears were curled from frostbite and the pads of her feet were red, swollen and painful.  All of this of course made our choice of who to pick quite easy since we couldn’t leave this scared girl behind.  After about a month of rigorous treatment her paws and ears healed completely but she did end up loosing part of her tail to the frostbite.  One of our clients who’d recently had their cat cross the rainbow bridge fell in love with Keiko’s story.

She’s been renamed Mia and now enjoys knowing she will be forever inside away from the cold.

Our Adoption fee is $150 this includes the full initial series of vaccinations, neutering or spaying when they are old enough, deworming, defleaing, fecal testing, felv/fiv testing, treatment for any external parasites, insurance trial and microchipping.
