I've been Adopted! - Angel comes in from the cold

March 13, 2013 / Leave a comment

One of our clients brought us a poor little stray.  Angel was emaciated, had many missing or broken teeth, had a wound on her belly and the worst part she was suffering from severe hypothermia. The temperature was so low it didn't even register on the thermometer. We weren’t sure if she was even going to make it.  She unfortunately was not microchipped so we made a report at Animal Control for a found pet but with the shape she was in it looked like she had been on her own for a while.

After 6 weeks and many Facebook postings Angel went to her new home.  She’d gained almost two pounds, had her mouth fixed up, was spayed, vaccinated and had oodles and oodles of TLC by both of our staff members and all of our faithful Facebook followers.

Her new family report she’s fitting in really well and is looking more and more like a spoiled house cat instead of a dirty scruff ball every single day.

Congratulations to both Angel and her new family.

We'd like to remind our clients that there is an adoption application and our adoption fee is $150, which includes the full initial series of vaccinations, neutering or spaying, deworming, defleaing, felv/fiv testing, treatment for any external parasites as well as microchipping.
